I/O Prediction, Malleability, and Noise Analysis for HPC
The position offers:
- Research and development in one of the three topics related to parallel computing
- Modeling and predicting I/O phases
- Job malleability in HPC
- Noise analysis on HPC systems using hardware counters
- Experience in parallel programming
- Working in an international team
- The option to prepare for a bachelor’s or master’s thesis
The ideal candidate will have:
- Two years of experience in computer science or a related discipline
- Programming practice in C/C++ or Python
- Familiarity with UNIX-like system environments
- Good command of English
- High motivation and the ability to work effectively with others
Additional qualifications:
- Knowledge of parallel programming
- Some familiarity with using Git
The work location is Hochschulstr. 10 (Robert-Piloty building). The number of hours per week is negotiable. The search will remain open until the position is filled.
